Abstract

The study compares microfinance models in South Asia (India, Bangladesh) and Sub-Saharan Africa (Kenya, Uganda). Findings indicate that South Asian MFIs focus on small loans with group liability, whereas African MFIs leverage mobile banking and flexible repayment. Outcomes differ in terms of financial inclusion, repayment rates, and entrepreneurship growth.
