Abstract

Mobile apps, websites, and social media platforms have made astrology a very accessible and customized experience, thanks to the rapid proliferation of digital technologies. examines the rise of online astrology services and how they have altered consumer participation, customization, and confidence. Using theories from Behavioral Science and Human-Computer Interaction, the research delves into the ways in which technological design and user experience impact the way astrological content is seen and accepted. how algorithms and data-driven personalization can make horoscope readings more personalized and relevant for each user. Enhance user engagement and reinforce habitual use with features like birth chart analysis, push notifications, and interactive interfaces. To make themselves seem more credible and accurate, these platforms use psychological tricks like confirmation bias and the Barnum Effect. The study goes even further, exploring how platform design, perceived competence, social validation, and content consistency all play a role in building trust with users. The convenience and customization offered by digital astrology platforms are not without their concerns about data privacy, the ethical use of algorithms, and the line between amusement and guidance.
