Abstract

This research paper examines the nature of logistics services, their main activities, and their relationship with other organizational functions. Its primary objective is to provide a theoretical overview of logistics services by addressing their concept, importance, and core activities, while highlighting their relationship with the fundamental functions of an organization.

The growing interest in the logistics function stems from its strategic role and distinctive position within organizations. Effective management of logistics activities, emphasizing their importance and clarifying their impact on other functions as well as on the organization's overall performance, represents a hallmark of modern management. The study concludes that the efficient implementation of logistics activities enables organizations to achieve competitive advantages and increase profitability through superior customer service and cost reduction, thereby ensuring organizational success and long-term sustainability.
