The neurological illness known as cerebral palsy (CP) has a substantial impact on the development of motor skills in children, which can result in difficulties with mobility, posture, and activities typically performed in everyday life. When it comes to the management of various motor deficits, paediatric physiotherapy is an essential component. The primary goals of this treatment are to improve the patient's quality of life and functional independence. the influence that physiotherapy therapies have on the development of motor skills in children who have cerebral palsy, with a particular focus on treatments that are supported by research, such as neurodevelopmental techniques, task-oriented training, and assistive devices. the efficacy of physiotherapy in enhancing children's gross and fine motor abilities, as well as their muscle strength and coordination, which enables them to reach developmental milestones and improves their ability to participate in day-to-day activities. In addition, physiotherapy helps to reduce the adverse effects of secondary problems, such as joint contractures and muscular stiffness, which can slow down the healing process. the significance of early intervention and individualised treatment plans that are adapted to the specific requirements and capabilities of each child with special needs. Paediatric physiotherapy plays a crucial role in empowering children with cerebral palsy to enable them to lead lives that are more independent and happy. This is accomplished by supporting the development of motor skills and functional mobility.
