Abstract

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a neurological disorder that severely hinders a child's motor skill development, making it difficult for them to walk, stand, and do other routine tasks. One of the most important parts of treating motor impairments in children is pediatric physiotherapy. Enhancing the patient's functional independence and quality of life are the main objectives of this treatment. research-based treatments, including neurodevelopmental approaches, task-oriented training, and assistive equipment, and how they impact the development of motor abilities in children with cerebral palsy through physiotherapy. the positive effects of physical therapy on children's motor skills, including their strength, coordination, and gross and fine motor abilities; this, in turn, helps them to achieve developmental milestones and become more involved in their daily lives. Joint contractures and muscular stiffness are secondary complications that might hinder healing; physiotherapy aids in reducing their negative consequences. the value of identifying children with special needs as soon as possible and developing individualized treatment programs that take their unique strengths and weaknesses into account. For children with cerebral palsy, paediatric physiotherapy is an essential tool for gaining independence and a fulfilling life. To achieve this goal, we must encourage the growth of functional mobility and motor abilities.
