Abstract

This research examines circular economy (CE) practices in the retail and consumer goods sector. Using case studies from Europe and Asia, the study explores how firms implement waste reduction, product recycling, and resource optimization to enhance sustainability and brand reputation. Findings indicate that CE practices drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and customer loyalty. Barriers include high implementation costs, supply chain complexity, and lack of consumer awareness. The study offers a roadmap for managers and policymakers seeking to integrate circularity into business operations, providing both environmental and economic benefits.
